The Nude
The nude has been an influence as subject matter in western art for centuries, and still subject matter with contemporary art of today. Many artist use the nude human form as a means of expressing both the human condition and its relationship to the surrounding world. LIfe drawing is a condtinued practice of contemporary artists.
