3 of the artists oil paintings were stolen from the Battersea Art Center on and around the 17th of may 2008.

The Art works, all figurative, are created over the past twelve years, including oil paintings and drawings. The subject incorperates Analytical nude paintings and drawings and landscape watercolour paintings and oils paintings

The mediums are oil paint, graphite, charchol or ink on paper.
Some of the works are for sale and work (including portraiture) can be commissioned.

The nude studies on this site are all originated from life, and as with the landscapes are all original art works.

Most of the landscapes scenes depicted here are originated around the Kent countryside, incorporating the famous Romney Marsh district

The Nude
The nude has been an influence as subject matter in western art for centuries, and still subject matter with contemporary art of today. Many artist use the nude human form as a means of expressing both the human condition and its relationship to the surrounding world. LIfe drawing is a condtinued practice of contemporary artists. The nude studies on this site are all originated from life, and as with the landscapes are all original art works.

The landscape
The Landscape is a traditional subject within art and particualy in watercolour.
Most of the landscapes scenes depicted here are originated around the Kent countryside, incorporating the famous Romney Marsh district.

About the Artist
Richard Collet has been producing figurative paintings for the past ten years, the human figure and nude are repeated subject matter within the painting and drawing practice of the artist.
